OMI Spirometry Interpretation Modules

OMI offers optional spirometry interpretation modules to its standard Spirometry Software. Designed specifically for occupational programs, these software modules offer comprehensive Interpretation and Longitudinal Analysis of test results.

The OMI Automated Spirometry Interpretation module provides easy to understand interpretive statements based on the outcome of the pulmonary function test results. Interpretation statements are based on the American Thoracic Society's (ATS) impairment criteria and is combined with the OMI Spirometry Overview report.

The OMI Longitudinal Analysis module is designed to graphically track and plot pulmonary function test results over time. It plots the FVC's (Forced Vital Capacity) and FEV1's (Forced Expiratory Volume in 1 second) against % of Predicted and Lower Limits of Normal (LLN). This longitudinal report provides for a very easy to understand view of an employee's pulmonary health over time.

The Quality Review module provides spirometry technicians and program managers with a quality asssesment tool which radomly montiors test sessions to help insure that test results are accurate and obtained using the highest quality testing techniques and procedures.
